Recorded from the Oyapock, Approuague, Kaw, Mahury, Sinnamary and the Mana rivers (Ref. 12225). Found in the lower reaches of Sinnamary River (Ref. 27233). Abundant in its preferred biotope (Ref. 27188). Also Ref. 38383.
